Design Notes for ESP32 Enclosures

Clearance, ports, heat, mounting holes, and what to check before printing a custom electronics case.

A useful enclosure starts with measurements, not decoration. Board outline, connector height, cable bend radius, and screw access all matter.

For small ESP32 projects, the most common problems are tight USB access, weak lid clips, and missing clearance around pin headers.

A first print should prove fit and access. Surface finish and styling can come after the geometry behaves.
